Dr. Tibebu Tsegga

Dr. Tsegga is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon who has been in practice in North Carolina since 2020. A native of Ethiopia, he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Washington in 2002 before earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Meharry Medical College in 2006. He was subsequently selected for an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency in the United States Air Force.

Following residency, Dr. Tsegga completed a highly specialized one-year fellowship in Tumor and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Miami School of Medicine. This advanced training augmented his distinguished military career, where he served for 12 years as a residency attending and sub-specialized clinician. He completed his active-duty service in the U.S. Air Force with his final installation at Fort Liberty (formerly Fort Bragg), NC.

Today, Dr. Tsegga brings extensive experience in full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery, with a particular clinical focus on complex, implant-supported full-mouth rehabilitation. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his amazing wife and three children.
